i need a hankie!

so today was the first day for me to take Landry to the sitter. she slept through the entire drop off process, which is probably just God's grace towards me. perhaps that made it a little easier, although, it was the most difficult thing i have ever done. i have reapplied my make up about 10 times already and i think i will just not wear it for the rest of the week. thank you Lord for a 4 day work week. as i am typing this the song "i will praise you in this storm" by casting crowns is playing. wow, to think that i use to listen to that song and cry because i thought i would never be able to get pregnant and now it has an entire new meaning.

Casting Crowns - Praise You In This StormFrom the album Lifesong
I was sure by now God You would have reached down
And wiped our tears away
Stepped in and saved the day
But once again, I say “Amen”, and it’s still raining
As the thunder rolls I barely hear You whisper through the rain“I’m with you”
And as Your mercy falls I raise my hands and praise the God who gives
And takes away

Chorus:I’ll praise You in this storm
And I will lift my hands
For You are who You are
No matter where I am
Every tear I’ve criedYou hold in Your hand
You never left my side
And though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

I remember whenI stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry
You raised me up again
My strength is almost gone
How can I carry on
If I can’t find You

As the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain“I’m with you”
And as Your mercy fallsI raise my hands and praise the God who gives
And takes away

Chorus:I’ll praise You in this storm
And I will lift my hands
For You are who You are
No matter where I am
Every tear I’ve criedYou hold in Your hand
You never left my side
And though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm
