Christmas Lights

This past weekend we took Landry to see the Christmas Lights at Loy Lake Park. It is a really good display and I know it will be a tradition that we will enjoy for many years. The best part is that it is FREE! You can see Landry was ready to go, with her 1st Christmas Bib and all. Thanks Cousin Kerrie! You have to turn your lights off to go through the park, but my daylights on my car only turn off if you pull the emergency brake just a little. BUT we learned if you drive with the emergency brake on, the car dings at you. Robert is not a fan of Christmas music, but we turned on the radio to cover the dinging. We discovered the dinging wasn't so bad compared to the cruddy Christmas music they were playing, so we turned the radio off again.
This was Robert's favorite display...hmm, wonder if he is itching for a motorcycle?! Please, Santa, drive it over to our house. This was my favorite display...it was new this year and I am so glad they added the true meaning of Christmas! Landry didn't pick a favorite, but I know it is going to be a tradition that she will come to love!

what a neat memory! there's a really neat neighborhood near us that has amazing Christmas light displays each year. one street even had it's own radio frequency you could tune into one year! ben and i love to grab a warm Starbucks and drive through this neighborhood each year. thanks for sharing your pictures!
